April 17th and 18th, in Sant Francesc.
Formentera will celebrate on April 17th and 18th its third Food and Wine Show, organised by the Ministry of Tourism, the Chamber of Commerce of Ibiza and Formentera, and firms and establishments on the island to promote the best of the local cuisine.
There will be two marquees in Sant Francesc, where visitors will find local products such as Peix Sec (dried fish), honey, pure natural salt (known as liquid salt), fresh pasta and wines. They will also find traditional dishes from Formentera, like the "Pages" salad, the stew of monk-fish or the Freixures Frit, and desserts like Greixonera (pudding), Orelletes, donuts and Flaó (goat cheese and mint cake). All accompanied by Island wines, from the wineries Cap de Barbaria, Terramoll and others.
There will also be traditional dances, live music and contests.
