Eva Lootz exhibits in Sa Nostra

A walk through time and memory.

The exhibition halls of Sa Nostra in Eivissa and Sant Francesc Xavier de Formentera are presenting simultaneously two exhibitions by Eva Lootz (Viena, 1942), an artist who has been living in Spain since the 60's and obtained the National Prize for Plastic Arts in 1994.

The exhibition that can be visited in Eivissa until June 4 consists of two installations which are an adaption of the exhibition called "Sedimentations" that Eva Lootz presented recently in the Sa Nostra Cultural Centre in Palma. One of the installations is formed by a table and other elements, and the second has sand as its principal element, offering a walk through time and memory. The exhibition also features three videos based on sand flux.

The exhibition called "Salario" that Eva Lootz is presenting in Formentera until June 11 consists of piles of salt and wood. In this exhibition, for the first time, the artist substitutes the use of sand with salt.
