In Holy Week in 2004, a new regatta for cruisers between Catalunya and the Balearics will begin. The regatta, organised by Ophiusa Iniciatives Nàutiques, will start from the port of Sitges on April 8 and will arrive at the port of La Savina.

The regatta is called OPHIUSA, the name that the ancient Greeks used to refer to Formentera, and intents to recover the "great voyages of the ancient navigators" setting "route to an island that according to many captains who know the Mediterranean well, is the most beautiful".
