"Eating & Drinking in Formentera", the first guide of bars and restaurants on the Island
At the beginning of the summer the guide "Eating & Drinking in Formentera", by the journalist Joan Marí de la Fuente (Formentera, 1964) came on sale. The pocket book publication offers information on the 50 best bars and restaurants on the island chosen with a completely independent criteria, with details on opening times, prices, types of cuisine, location... The information is completed by personal comments by the author, who knows Formentera well despite the fact that he lives in Barcelona, as he has never broken his ties with the Island.

"Eating & Dringking in Formentera", the first guide on bars and restaurants of the Island has been published by the graphic designer Neli Ferrer and the Barcelona editor Eduard Voltas, friends of the author and lovers of the smaller Pitiüsa island, who actually celebrated their marriage in one of the restaurants that figure in the book.

The new publication, that has been published only in English and can be acquired in all the bookshops on the island, has been well received, particularly by the Formentera, Spanish mainland and Italian public, who have seen an answer to an information lagoon that has existed for a long time.
