The Blue Bar on Formentera is open again

The new CD of the Blue Bar will come on sale in May

After the winter rest, the Blue Bar on Formentera reopened its doors last Thursday evening, April 17, coinciding with the Easter holidays. This emblematic bar on the Migjorn beach, will stay open until the end of the summer, every day from 12 noon until 4 a.m. During the day they offer sun, beach and restaurant. During the night it becomes a lively bar lit by the moon.

Managed since 1990 by Günther Schott, the history of the Blue Bar started in the seventies, in the hippy movement. It preserves its charm and spirit of that first era, and now this "chiringuito" (open air bar) has become a compulsory visit for tourists and residents alike. An oasis with unequalled surroundings, spectacular sunsets and good music; where the blue of the sea and the sky fuse into perfect harmony.

This new season, the Blue Bar will present their second record: "Uplifted". The new CD will come on sale in May and can be acquired via internet, like their first record, "The Essential Collection", that was presented in the summer 2002 and since then has had successful sales. Another novelty this year is the presentation of a promotional video clip, that is available on the web of Blue Bar.
