The winners will receive a prize of 1.000 euros
They started in 1971 and have enough wind for a long time. The 2002
edition of the oldest Research Contest on the Pitiüses, the prizes
for the Nit de Sant Joan, that are given by the
Institut
d'Estudis Eivissencs, are already on the go.
This award has three categories: for Infants and Primary Education pupils,
for Secondary and Bachillerato pupils (in both cases individual or team
work can be presented) and another for adults. The works presented must
be related to any aspect of the geography, architecture, history, language,
customs, nature or art of the Pitiüses. Those interested can consult
on
this web the
conditions of the 2001 award that present very few differences with respect
to those of this year (the prize money slightly increased).
The winners of the prize for the Nit de Sant Joan receive 1.000 euros.
If the jury decides, they can also award a complementary prize of 350 euros.
Works can be presented until June 10, and the prizes will be given during
the fiesta on the Eve of Saint John, June 23.
