The exhibition will be open until April 22.
A little before the Holy Week festivities, tomorrow, March 22, at the
Sa Nostra cultural hall in Sant Francesc,
the well known artist from Formentera, Enric Riera, will show a a new selection
of his work on the island, where he has not exhibited since 1997.
He was born in 1963, and studied
Fine
Arts at the Barcelona University. Now he is a Secondary teacher
at the High School
Marc
Ferrer.
In the exhibition that he is presenting at Sa Nostra, he will show some
twenty new works: 12 canvases (with acrylic and oils) and eight acrylics
on paper. Enric Riera held his first exhibition in 1985. Since then he
has exhibited on Formentera, on Eivissa, on Mallorca, in Madrid, in Switzerland
(at the
Galería Studio
10 of Chur) and in Barcelona (
Espai
Mallorca). He has also shown his paintings in collective exhibitions
in the United States, at the Balearic Pavilion in the Expo 92, in Madrid
and in Italy.
This new exhibition can be visited until April 22.
