Proposals about Internet in the Parliament
The Balearic Parliament (PIB) passed in the recent Debate about the general political orientation of the Balearic Govern, a resolution according to which "The Balearic Parliament  will ask the Balearic Government to set up free access for the public users to the Internet network for the digital edition of the Official Balearic Gazette (BOIB)."

At present, to consult the BOIB via Internet is only free for the last 6 gazettes published.

Meanwhile, the PIB passed another resolution according to which "the Balearic Parliament will ask the Balearic Government to promote the use of open source codes to integrate more people of the Balearics onto the Internet, to promote electronic commerce."

The two resolutions were presented by the Parliamentary Group PSM-Entesa Nacionalista and approved by assent.
