Talayots.com: the portal for Balearic archaeology

Talayots.com is the new web space dedicated to Balearic archaeology that starts with a view to act as the information centre both for professionals and amateurs of archaeology. It includes news, reports, legislation, bibliography, links and a lot more.

It is an initiative by Javier Aramburu-Zabala Higuera, Carlos Garrido Torres and Felipe Sánchez-Cuenca Alomar, although they have the collaboration of other archaeology professionals, such as Dr. Jordi Hernández Gasch, who has published an interesting article this month called "El parc arqueològic de Son Real" where besides describing the work carried out at the necropolis of Son Real and the Illa des Porros, he sets out the plans to create an archaeological park in the area that also includes Figueral de Son Real.
