Cuba: the 7th Biennial of Havana opened
"Diàleg entre illes", the exhibition of sheets painted by artists from the Balearics and Cuba, opened yesterday, the seventh Biennial of la Havana. The ceremony was held in the Plaza Vieja in Havana where the sheets painted by 39 artists from the Balearics and 18 from Cuba, were hung, and later transferred to La Lonja de Comercio in la Havana, where they will be exhibited throughout the Biennial.

The event has been attended by the Councillor for Education and Culture, Damià Pons; the general director for Culture, Pere Muñoz; the commissioner of the exhibition, Maria Josep Corominas, and a group of artists from the islands, such as Pep Guerrero, Bàrbara Juan, Bernadí Roig and Paca Florit. This initiative is part of the programme of exterior projection by the Department of Education and Culture of the Balearic Government.
