From October 2 to 6, the UIB will hold the "1st.
European Summer
School. Legal Aspects of E-Commerce" in the Sa Riera building in
Palma. This will deal with intelectual property law, domains, consumer
protection, responsibility, electronic payments, international private
law, taxes, privacy and contract law.
The course is part of a group of activities that are being carried out
with the European Project
ECLIP 2, financed by the
European Commission,
with the participation of a
group of investigators from the
Centre of
Studies of Law and Computers of the Balearics (CEDIB) of the UIB,
directed by the professor in Civil Law, Santiago Cavanillas, together
with four other states of the EU.
