The Balearic Government councillor for Education and Culture, Damiā Pons and the Catalan Generalitat councillor for Culture, Jordi
Vilajoana, signed last week an agreement that foresees carrying out common policies that promote the knowledge and exchange
between the Balearics and Catalonia, and the collaboration in a group projection of the cultural production of the two communities
beyond their territory. The agreement foresees the attempt to include into this project the other territories with which we share the
same language and culture.
The agreement covers three areas of collaboration:
- Artistic area: exchange of exhibitions between the exhibition centres of the two Communities.
- Literary area: Collaboration in the promotion of authors in the Catalan language in the two Communities.
- Exterior projection of culture: collaboration in projects to increase the presence of the cultural production of both territories abroad.
