From July 20 to 25.
On July 25 is the saint's day for Saint James, patron of the island of Formentera. For this reason the Formentera Town Council has prepared a wide selection of activities that will last until Tuesday 25. Once again, the music will be the main element of the fiestas. The choice for Thursday 20 is a concert in the Sant Francesc square. The day after, Friday 21, there will be a concert by soprano Maia Planas in the church and live music and a Flower Power party in the square. On Saturday 22, amongst other activistes, there will be a Latin-Jazz evening by Emma Genazzano Sextet followed by a Jam session. The programme for Sunday includes a windsurfing regatta and at night classical dance at the square. On Monday 24 there will be traditional songs in the Club of the retired people and theatre at the square. Finally, the day of Sant Jaume, July 25, as usual, there will be a mass in the morning and traditional dances at 9 p.m. The activities will end with a concert by 4 de Copes, a firework display and a dance with music by Sabor de Grącia.
Shortly after the Sant Jaume fiestas, around August 5, the Festes de la Terra arrive, organised by the Comissió de Festes de Santa Maria.
