The craftsmen of Formentera present their work

Pieces of ceramics, jewelry, glass, clothes, fabric, leather, sculpture and painting.

The "Sa Nostra" Cultural Hall in Formentera is housing until May 30 an exhibition called "mare terra" that groups a selection of the latest works by 23 craftsmen of Formentera. Amongst the exposed works there are pieces of ceramics, jewelry, glass, clothes, fabric, leather, sculpture and painting.

The Association of Formentera for the Crafts, presided by Jordi Peñaranda, annually organises this exhibition with the objective of presenting the work that the craftsmen the island carry out. In the previous edition the connecting thread of the exhibiton was water and in the present exhibition the connecting thread is another natural element: earth.

This year, in addition to the craftsmen, three invited artists participate in the exhibition, each one with a work of art. These are sculptors Dicky and Frantz, and painter Celia.
