Fiestas for Sant Jaume in Sant Francesc

Life music and good mood for the fiestas of Formentera.

On July 25 is the patron saint's day for Saint James, patron of the island of Formentera. For this reason the Formentera Town Council has prepared a wide selection of activities that will last until Saturday 31st. Once again, the music will be the main element of the fiestas. The choice for Friday is a Flower Power party in the square with Blue Bar DJ's, Bien "d miedo", DJ Pharma and Miquel Botja. On Saturday 24, there will be traditional songs in the Club of the retired people, a concert of classic music in the church and performances by Juan Morilla (flamenco), Glep's & Dhul's and Antònia Font, in the square. The day of Sant Jaume, July 25, there will be a mass in the morning and traditional dances at 9 p.m, followed by a show of Agustin El Casta and music by Tahúres Zurdos and Pota Lait.
