The two sides of the coin: Porto Alegre and Davos

From January 23 to 28 the III World Social Forum will be held in Porto Alegre (Brazil) coinciding with the World Economic Forum (Davos, Switzerland).

The World Economic Forum has become over the years the most important global business congress in the world, and the World Social Forum aims to become the alternative event that will gather together progressive groups of the planet who believe that social progress must not be separate from economic progress.
