Exhibition about traditional lime kilns

The Sa Nostra Cultural Hall in Formentera will hold from December 11 to January 7 an exhibition dedicated to lime stones, lime and lime kilns called "Pedra viva, calç blanca". The exhibition features photos and a video that explain the transformation process of lime stones into white lime by firing traditional lime kilns. The exhibition is organised by the Arxiu d'Imatge i So of the Consell d'Eivissa i Formentera, the Museu Etnològic d'Eivissa i Formentera and the Museu d'Etnografia de Formentera.

The entrance is free and the visiting times are from Tuesday to Friday from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m.; on Saturdays from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. Sunday closed.
