The new eEurope 2005 action plan adopted by the European Commission
to promote the Information Society will be presented to the Seville European
Council that will be held on June 21 and 22.
According to the plan, by 2005 Europe should have: modern online public
services, particularly e-government, e-learning and e-health; a dynamic
e-business environment; widespread availability of broadband access at
competitive prices; and a secure information infrastructure.
