The
last full council meeting of the Insular Council of Eivissa and Formentera
held last March 25, agreed the proposal by the "Comissió Insular
del Patrimoni Historicoartístic d'Eivissa i Formentera", presided
by the councillor for Culture, Fanny Tur Riera, to declare the house Sa
Senieta a listed building together with the dry stone walls that surround
it.
Sa Senieta is to be found at the venda des Pi des Català (Sant
Francesc Xavier) and, according to the historian Joan Marí Cardona,
is one of the first houses that in the XVIII century formed the nucleous
of Sant Francesc de Formentera.
