2002 Earth Day

Earth Day is now widely celebrated around the world, on April 22, as a collective expression of public will to create a sustainable society. Among the actions organised by the Earth Day Network, worth mentioning is the campaign to collect firm to claim for the participation of Heads of Sate and Government in the World Summit on Sustainable Development that will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, in August - September 2002.
