Rural Fair from Eivissa and Formentera

The first edition of the "Fira del Camp. Món rural d'Eivissa i Formentera", organised by the Department of Agriculture of the Council of Eivissa and Formentera, will be held on November 17 and 18, at the exhibition hall in Eivissa City.

The objective of the fair is to promote the farming products from the Pitiüses Islands, and the related services and new technologies. The exhibition area will have some twenty stands, including the one of Council of Eivissa and Formentera, the one of the Balearic Government and one of the Council of Menorca. There will also be 600 square metres dedicated to the exhibition of animals.

The fair was firs programmed for last year but it was cancelled due to the illness known as the "blue tongue".

UPDATE (14/11/2001)
Because of the damages that last weekend wind and rain storm caused on the exhibition hall in Eivissa, the fair has been postponed to a future date that remains undefined.
