Fiestas del Pilar de la Mola

The patron saint fiestas for Our Lady of Pilar at la Mola started last Saturday 6 with the "Volta en bicicleta" and will continue until Tuesday 16 with a wide programme of cultural, sporting, popular and religious activities.

The night of Thursday 11, there will be a concert with the participation of the groups Diguem Moros and Estatua de Sal. On Friday 12, the patron saint's day, in the morning there will be a sailing competition at La Savina and the Mini Marathon up La Mola. At midday, the Solemn Mass followed by the typical procession, and at 1 p.m. traditional dancing. The festivities will continue at 4 p.m. with the artisan exhibition Artisan Market in la Mola. Amongst other activities there will be children's entertainment at 6.30 p.m, popular BBQ at 8 p.m. and as from 10 p.m. music and dancing. At midnight, Fireworks to continue with the Fiesta until the wee small hours of the morning.

On Saturday 13, there will be Peasant Singing and the programme will end with the presentation of a book dedicated to the lighthouse of La Mola on Formentera.
