A Mallorcan prize winner at Jornadas Mundo Internet 2001

The Mallorcan from Alaró Joan Martí Mas has won the prize from the AUI for the best personal web page, within the World Internet Days 2001, that was held from February 7 to 10, at the Palacio de Congresos in Madrid. This is the most prestigious prize in Spain, and in a previous edition it was won by another Mallorcan, Gabriel Lacomba.

The prize was given by the Prince of Asturias, in the presence of the Ministers of Science & Technology and for Education & Culture, the Madrid mayor and other authorities, during the opening ceremony of the Days.
