Next Friday, January 26, all over Spain will see the premiere of the new
film by
Ventura Pons, "Anita
no pierde el tren".
Starring Rosa Maria Sardà, José Coronado and Maria Barranco,
the film tells the story of hidden love which is at the same time tender
and amusing, based on the work by Lluís-Anton Baulenas "Bones Obres".
Anita, played by Rosa Maria Sardà, sees how the place where she
has worked for three decades is knocked down to give way to a multicinema
complex. She is pensioned off because she does not fit into the firm's
new image. Shaken by this, she goes every day to the building site
for the new construction. By quirks of fate, she ends up falling
in love and becoming involved with the man who drives the excavator for
the building work.
The film will reach the Mallorcan screens not only in the Spanish
version but also in Catalan, within the framework of the campaign that
promotes
Catalan films
promoted by the
General
Direction of Linguistic Policy of the Balearic Government.
