Softcatalà announces the availability in Catalan of the GNOME for Linux

The association, Softcatalà has announced the availability in Catalan of GNOME for Linux.

The GNOME is a sophisticated work base and desktop for Unix that greatly facilitates the use of Linux and is gaining popularity very quickly. This basis offers a series of bookshops for the developers to integrate into them their applications.

The GNOME is part of the project GNU and is a free programme or open code. Its development is not controlled by any firm, but is possible thanks to the work of hundreds of volunteers from all over the world, whose efforts are coordinated by the GNOME foundation.
