"The Balearics: land of creativity"

The general director for Culture of the Balearic Government, Pere Muñoz, presented yesterday what he considers to be fundamental tools to contribute to the cultural promotion of the Balearics abroad. The web page "culturabalears.net" and the promotional video "Illes Balears: terra de creació"

The video "Illes Balears: terra de creació", directed by Margalida Blanquer, is a production by Perifèrica Produccions. Over 100 artists from every field appear in the video that lasts 7 minutes. The intention of the General Direction of Culture is to broadcast "Illes Balears: terra de creació" at fairs or any place where they wish to promote the artists and the Balearic culture.

The web page "culturabalears.net" was born with aim to project the Balearic culture abroad, taking advantage of the possibilities that Internet offers as a digital and interactive means of communication. The web is under construction but intends to become a reference on Internet for cultural production on the Balearics.

"culturabalears.net" is a production by LTI, a firm that belongs to Clave Publicidad, who have already carried out several institutional webs for the previous Govern, such as the one dedicated to Balearic Day 1999.
