XXXVI Spanish Mathematics Olympics in Palma

The Real Sociedad Matemática Española (RSME) has accepted the proposal by the Council of Education and Culture of the Balearic Government and the Balearic University for Palma de Mallorca to be the site of the National Phase of XXXVI Olimpiada Matemática Española to be held on March 29, 30 and 31 and April 1 of 2000.

The pupils matriculated in the course 1999-2000 in Bachiller or any equivalent course of the previous education system may participate: : 3º de BUP, COU, 2º or 3º courses of FP II.

The said event is part of the programme by the RSME to celebrate the year 2000, declared by the International Mathematics Union as the World Year for Mathematics.
