"UIB Information Bank": grants, housing, volunteers, books, notice board

The University of the Balearics (UIB) keep on the net the "Information Bank of the UIB" that puts at the disposal of students and the university community in general, information structured in different pages for each area of interest. At the end of last year, the sections for grants, housing and volunteers, and now these have been extended by Second-hand book bank and the notice board.

The Second-hand book bank intends to facilitate the sale and purchase of used books. It is administered by the Information Office of the UIB, that acts only as an intermediary, facilitating the contact between people interested in selling or buying books. The web incorporates a search engine that permits consultations via areas of knowledge or by key word and a form for the cybernauts to introduce the details of the book on sale.

The notice board is a service administered also by the Information Office of the UIB and is a complement to the different services offered from the Information Bank of the UIB. It lets all the members of the university community publish adverts online: linguistic exchanges, sales and purchases, private classes, typing of work, etc. Via the search engine consultations can be made to see the published adverts.
