Start of the university academic year 1999-2000

Today sees the start of the university academic year 1999-2000 at the UIB. The inaugural lesson for the course is by Doctor Montserrat Casa Ametller with the heading"Nuclear Physics; the balance of a century". During the ceremony the rector of the UIB, Llorenç Huguet, and the president of the Balearic Government, Francesc Antich will also take part.
